GEORGE JONES comes to HARDKORE PSYCHOLS

Some kids in the neighborhood found this thing about 2 weeks ago and didn't know what to do with it so I took over. Steady diet of scrambled eggs, liquified grapes, Gerber baby foods and liquids and lots of snuggling. He sleeps most of the day and hangs out with me on the graveyard shift. The kids love him to pieces, and so do I. Look at that face...how could you not?

Oh yeah...We named him after the most famous POSSUM ever...George Jones. ;)

Thanks to Possum Rescue.com for help and tips.

Top Gas Bike build Update

Here's an update on our latest project, the Top Gas Suzuki GSXR 1100, of reigning NMRA Super Comp Champion, Johnny"The Kid"Gidcumb. Inspired by his rookie year accomplishments, he decided to add a HARDKORE PSYCHOLS chassis to his program, also a brand new SPEED TECH nitrous system and try his hand at the ultra competitive class of NMRA Top Gas. We think he'll do just fine.
Hope you enjoy the pics, feel free to leave comments by clicking the comment button at the bottom of the entry.

Puttin' "The Kid" to work for a little sweat equity.
Doing the dirty work for a grass roots understanding of the bike and equipment. I charged him extra for letting him "help".

Airshifter

Tucked in rear Performance Machine 2 piston caliper

Schnitz box-in-a-box. Also the SPEED TECH nitrous solenoids and Holley fuel pressure regulator
Front mounted Fast By Gast battery and DYNA coil

The fairing stay. Awesome, if I do say so myself.
So nice! And how 'bout those PMFR hand controls?!

The old girl...rest in pieces.

Afew shots of the old class room. Gone but not forgotten.

APE BOOTH @ Long Beach stop of INTL MC show 03

This was a while ago but it was one of the best times we've had with the bike without ever starting it up. It was a great time and a great chance to meet 2 wheel minded folks of all kinds. We also got to promote all of the great APE products and service that truly make our camchain go around!

Looking for GO-FAST stuff for your bike? Strip, street or dirt, call APE first.

BAD MOON RISING

2 outa 3 of my favorite things, Stretched turbo Busa and the Full moon.
OWR-OWR-OWROOOOOO!!!!!

AN OLD FAVORITE OF MINE

This bike was built in 2000-2001 and was the first with cut seat rails, custom subframe, 2-step seat, Trac Ft End and cut down steel tank. It was a total flyweight but a burnt up turbo and racing budget for the owner meant it was over before it ever got a chance to stretch it's legs. It did go 8.37 like this.

Rice Bowl November 05

Here are a few shots from the first ever Rice Bowl Top Alky Moto event held at the awesome CALIFORNIA SPDWY in Fontana, Ca. The event winner was first time in the 6's, Pete Steuri on the Steve Rice Racing entry. Though we hurt a bearing in qualifying it was good to be back in the saddle after the little Supermoto mishap. (We did the text green just for Steve and Pete!)

FUNNY BIKE fitting turbo and body

Here are some shots of rough wiring and turbo final fitting. AND HOW 'BOUT THAT TURBO??!! An NLR dual ball bearing unit. AWESOME power that we have not even tapped into. Also some body work stuff. In the first pic you can see the section of the top engine cradle tube is removable, those unions were made for us by Puppet at Race Visions. In the pics of "Daddy" on the bike, you can clearly see the HARDKORE PSYCHOLS AERO- ADVANTAGE!!

Making the plugs for the Funny Bike body

This is a complete build of our Hayabusa powered 02 GSXR 1000. Everything in these pics was done inhouse. Chassis to turn-key...or push button as it were. AS SOON as we had the chassis far enough along we were onto the process of making the plugs for the body. Lots of fun, SU-HOOOPER messy that's why we did the makeshift body shop in the corner.
